Lifesaver Changes Line-Up

New York, NY -- Candy-maker LifeSavers has decided to let three of its flavors sink into oblivion.

For 70 years, the LifeSavers roll has consisted of the same five original flavors -- Cherry, Pineapple, Orange, Lemon and Lime.

However, in response to consumer demand, the company is removing the Orange, Lemon and Lime flavors in "flavor" of Pineapple, Raspberry, Watermelon and Blackberry.

Old rolls will be phased out and the new ones will hit the market by September.

The manufacturer doesn't expect much public outcry because it's merely replacing the LifeSavers based on consumer response and just keeping up with the times.
