San Diego, CA -- Watch out, Ben Affleck: character actor R. Lee Ermey may replace you as America's Sexiest Man.

The 58-year-old Ermey is best known as the voice of the green army men in the Toy Story films but, these days, he's become a heartthrob with females who watch the History Channel.

Ermey is the host of "Mail Call," where the former drill instructor answers viewer questions about military history. He figured most of the show's fans would be male and is shocked he has so many female fans.

Although he says many of the gals ask intelligent questions, he's surprised how many marriage proposals he receives each week.

So far, Ermey admits he likes the attention but won't say if he has any plans to accept anyone's hand in marriage.

"Mail Call" airs Sundays and Mondays on the History Channel.
