Sebastian Bach On Playing Jesus

San Diego, CA -- It looks like former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach's decision not to cut his flowing locks is paying off -- he's playing Jesus Christ in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar."

Bach tells "San Diego CityBeat" that his Skid Row fans ain't seen nothing yet, saying, "This is the biggest show you've ever seen me in -- bigger than any Skid Row tour."

While Bach admits Jesus's shoes "are some big sandals to fill," he says he didn't have to reach too far in playing Jesus.

Bach says because he recently lost his father and dealt with some serious emotional issues when -- quote -- "I'm on the cross and I'm singing to my father, and you know, emotionally, I don't have to reach too far."

Bach is currently touring with the musical.
